Designing software by day, crafting home goods by night.

I founded a modern home goods brand called Persim Studio on the side as a way to explore other mediums outside of the digital screen.

My first product, a modern daily almanac, received much love from design lovers, including Design Milk in this
feature!

Wearing many hats — designing the (physical) product, defining the brand identity, launching an e-commerce site, etc.

THE WHY

I’ve always been drawn to everyday objects that are not only nice to look at but also deeply functional and nostalgic, whether it’s the antique chopsticks from my grandma’s home or vintage polaroid film cameras that capture memories in an instant. Persim Studio became my canvas to explore mediums outside of the digital screen, build a brand from scratch, and learn how to bring a product to market.

Trained as a designer for software, I’ve learned that there are many overlaps between physical and interface design — design systems as a tool for consistency & scalability, constraints as a leverage for creativity, and the value of iteration.
